The Kline Foundation

Dear Friends:

This letter is in reply to your organization’s request for a contribution from the Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation, Inc.  The Kline Foundation was incorporated in 1952 by Josiah, a real-estate developer, and his wife Bessie exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes in Central Pennsylvania. 

The Board resolved at its November 2009 meeting that the Kline Foundation, Inc. would contribute the sum of $15,000 to Presbyterian Senior Living to be used as follows:  Funds are to be used to purchase 25 new energy-efficient refrigerators for the Presbyterian Apartments, which is a 165-unit apartment building located in Harrisburg, PA that is occupied by low-income senior citizens.
