If you know Presbyterian Apartments – as a resident, family member, business associate or friend – you know this is a special community.  Our goal in all we do is to give residents the opportunity to live active, fulfilling lives in the company of caring friends.

Gifts may be made to directly support the needs of our residents, activities, and projects at Presbyterian Apartments.  Gifts of all sizes and many types are welcome in support of our mission.  There are a variety of projects and funds available, including funds for special programs, capital improvements, employee training, and more.  There are many options for making a contribution, including arrangements that can provide income back to the donor.

Below are specific funds that have been previously established.

  • Capital Improvements Fund - Approximately $3.5 million is required to make necessary capital improvements.  Both the plumbing system & the electrical system are aging – 41 year old copper plumbing system.  The windows are not energy efficient – the original windows.  The heating & air conditioning units (P-Tact units) on the verge of extinction and are not energy efficient.  Refrigerators & stoves are outdated and not energy efficient; replacement parts are no longer available.  All bathrooms are original – they do not meet ADA requirements (at least 10% of building should be ADA compliant.  Security system & fire alarm system need to be updated.
  • Resident Emergency Fund – provides essential funds to residents on an emergency basis.
  • Bequests – provide opportunities for individuals to promote and carry out their wishes on how their assets will be used by future generations.  Many individuals may not be in a financial position to make an immediate gift during their lifetime, but provisions in a will can convey one’s wishes to an organization of their choosing.  We strongly recommend that you carefully consider this arrangement in relation to your comprehensive financial and estate plans.  Please consult an attorney in the preparation of your will and to supervise its execution so as to comply with state requirements.
  • Memorial Gifts - honor the life of a resident and recognize the loving care and service of the staff.
